SFT is a distinctive mesenchymal neoplasm of the pleura but can be found in extrapleural sites. The treatment of SFT is simple excision or wide local resection. This is the case study of a 14-year-old girl who presented with a large diffuse swelling in the left submandibular region, ultimately diagnosed with SFT and surgically excised.
